USObama & team President Barack Obama has immediately started taking action in order to attain peace worldwide especially Middle East and Pakistan and Afghanistan. He has appointed special envoys, Richard Holbrook to Pakistan and Afghanistan and Mr. Mitchell to Middle east so that the action is taken right away. As soon as the Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton depicted that these two issues regarding foreign policy were the most pressing ones, Mr. Obama said, “We have no time to loose.

However, both the issues are very important and quite challenging for the new team of Mr. Obama. He also said that there was a “deteriorating situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan”. He said that US would go on fighting with terror but at the same time retain American values too. He said,

We are going to do so vigilantly, we are going to do so effectively, and we are going to do so in a manner that is consistent with our values and our ideals.”

Mr. Obama banned the use of inhuman techniques used for interrogation of suspects like threat, waterboarding and physical abuse. All these techniques were permitted and were used during Bush government.
